Yesterday the team presentation for the 1st FIP Arena Polo European Championship Azerbaijan took place at Baku’s Boulevard Hotel.
World Polo in cooperation with the Equestrian Federation of Azerbaijan Republic (ARAF) and the Elite Horse and Polo Club Bina organises the first ever FIP Arena Polo European Championship in Baku/Azerbaijan. From 4-12 September 2015, six teams with a handicap of 6 to 8 goals from Germany, Ireland, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and a local team from Azerbaijan will fight for the title of the 1st FIP Arena Polo European Championship Azerbaijan.
The tournament starts today at 17.00 hrs (local time) with the first polo match between Germany and Azerbaijan at Elite Horse & Polo Club Bina in Baku. The match is followed by the second game at 18.00 hrs (local time), in which Spain faces Italy. The day is finished with the third polo match at 19.15 hrs (local time), in which Switzerland will fight against Ireland.
