The 44th Land Rover International Polo Tournament

The 2015 Sotogrande season is now well underway with the Land Rover International at Santa María Polo Club. Friday 31 July saw the Dubai team remain unbeaten with another victory over La Indiana 14-8 in Group A of the INDI High Goal Silver Cup. This win is a second consecutive victory for the team, who are in an excellent position to qualify directly for the Semi Finals of the INDI Silver Cup. In the medium goal, Opel Royal Salute beat Golden Goose Deluxe Brand 15-12, whilst in the low goal Opel-John Smith defeated Valdeparras-Linx ,12-7, GSA beat Santa Quiteria, 12-7 and La Clarita won against Mahra Polo Team by 10 goals to 6.

On Saturday 1 August, Dos Lunas A&G Banca Privada and RH Polo won their matches in Group B of the INDI High Goal Silver Cup. Dos Lunas A&G Banca Privada achieved its second consecutive win after defeating HB by 11-8 and RH Polo won 13-10 in a strong match against Ayala Polo Team.

On Sunday 2 August, Clarita became the first winners of the tournament, taking home the low goal Valecuatro Bronze Cup in a match against Opel-John Smith, where they won 11-9.

In the medium goal, Bayswater-Sapphire achieved its second consecutive win beating Yaguará with a score of 13-10. Opel-Royal Salute defeated Kazak by 13-12 in a great match and Equus won against Golden Goose, 16-12.

Tuesday 4 August will see the closing high goal matches of Groups A and B in the INDI Silver Cup. Dubai will face Murus Sanctus in Group A, and in Group B Ayala Polo will take on Dos Lunas A&G Banca Privada. Later that day, La Indiana will play Lechuza Caracas in Group A, and Group B will see RH Polo battle against HB Polo. Matches also start Tuesday 11 August for the low goal Valecuatro Silver Cup, with games between Santa Quiteria and La Clarita, Channel vs GSA and Mahra Polo Team vs Opel John Smith.
