Diamond International Men and Virgin Atlantic Women claim one win apiece
The Battle of The Sexes kicked off last Sunday (1 February) with Diamonds International Men (Joshua Archer, Rhys Odle, Jeff Evelyn and Adam Deane) defeating Virgin Atlantic Ladies (Linda Williams, Tiva Gross, Hazel Jackson and Sarah Wiseman) in the tournament’s opening match.
However, the girls managed to get revenge in yesterday’s action at Holders Polo Club. A slightly altered Virgin Atlantic Ladies side, featuring Linda Williams, Tiva Gross, Hazel Jackson and Sarah Wiseman managed to beat a reformed Diamonds International Men’s line-up of Joshua Archer, Rhys Odle, Jeff Evelyn and Adam Deane by 4 goals to 2.
Play continues tomorrow at 3.15 at Apes Hill Polo Club while Sunday’s Final will take place at Holders Polo Club.
