British Ladies Victorious in French Tournament

British lady players Emma Boers and Lottie Lamacraft have added The Open de France Femenin title to their success in the 2015 season, with a win for their Lowell team on Sunday. They beat the Tom Tailor Polo Team (Ladies), featuring fellow Brits Lucy Taylor and Charlene Goudkuil, by 7-6. The 8-12 goal tournament was played from Tuesday 15 – Sunday 20 September as part of the Open de France meeting. In the preliminary stages, Tom Tailor Polo Team (Ladies) beat Esprit De Maryland In The Wings on Tuesday 15 September, 7-3, while Lowell also beat the all-French Esprit De Maryland In The Wings team on Wednesday 16 September, 9-3

In the Open de France Polo Tournament, Marquard Media snatched victory from Tom Tailor Polo Team after a 10-9 win in the Final on Sunday 20 September. England’s Luke Tomlinson, playing for the Ghantoot Racing Polo Club team, was beaten into fourth place after losing out to Sainte-Mesme I. The result was disappointing for Ghantoot Racing Polo Club, after a win over eventual victors, Marquard Media, 8-7, on Wednesday 9 September.
