Bayswater defeated Atlanterra by a narrow 5-4, and won the Campeonato Femenino de España, that took place at Santa María Polo Club, in Sotogrande.
Bayswater, led by Lia Salvo, had a stronger start. By half time, they were leading 4-1. However, Atlanterra, that featured great performances by Joanna Mobley and Katie McKinney, tied at 4-all with just one minute remaining in regulation time. But the match was decided in the last seconds of play, through a penalty conversion by Lia Salvo.
Lia Salvo was named MVP, and her mare, Petisa, took BPP honors.
Club Martimo Hotel took the third place, while the fourth place went to La Bocha. La Quinta and Iridike were fifth and sixth, respectively.
