Simon McLaren-Tosh also set up cameras in his home to catch footage of people without their knowledge.
A former polo player who ran two successful businesses has been jailed after he filmed himself abusing young girls in his plush home,
Paedophile Simon McLaren-Tosh was a leading member of the polo wold but also hid a dark secret that was a twisted lust for small girls.
The 50-year-old admitted a series of shocking sex attacks on three girls aged seven and eight and then filming them for his own sexual gratification.
The beast wiped tears away as Reading Crown Court heard descriptions of his vile crimes.
A former member of the Royal Berkshire Polo Club, McLaren-Tosh was arrested in May last year after officers swooped following a tip-off from Russian police linking McLaren’s email addresses to indecent images.
When police searched the businessman’s home, they discovered sick videos of children being assaulted on his computer.
The fiend was also discovered to have set up secret cameras throughout his home to film people without their knowledge and had originally claimed he simply had an interest in naturism, before admitting what he had done.
The sportsman owned two businesses, Berkshire Classic Cars which buys and sells collectible motors, and Livery and Polo Management which was based at his family’s farm.
However the court heard the farm where he had lived with his wife Louise and their two children, aged nine and 12 years, was now on the market after the relationship broke down after his crimes came to light.
Sentencing him, Judge Paul Dugdale said: “These were young girls and I have much hope that that these are matters that they have been able to put behind them and forget about.
“You need to understand the immense harm that this kind of action can do to young people.
“If they have been unable to forget about this it will be something that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.”
Dugdale, whose wife has since left him, was also given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for eight years and will be on the Sex Offenders Register indefinitely.
