The 31-year-old royal redhead fell headfirst about 20 minutes into the game when his pony reportedly stopped short.

The fall looks to have been a fairly soft one, with the prince not so much as dropping his polo stick throughout the blunder. He broke the fall with his hands and almost immediately stood up and walked off. He switched out ponies and was back in the game in no time.

But that wasn’t to be the last tumble of the day. As the match was nearing an end, Harry took yet another spill!

Unlucky as the falls were, the Prince seems to have walked away from both unscathed. Harry’s Sentebale team lost to the competing team Royal Salute.

A veteran polo player, just like his dad, Prince Harry did score one goal in the match, and either way, is a winner in our eyes because of the charitable meaning behind today’s game. Set up in memory of Harry’s late mom, Princess Diana, the polo match raises money every year to benefit children suffering from HIV and AIDS.

The match comes on the third of a six-day tour in Africa. On Thursday the charming royal attended the opening of the Mamohato Children’s Centre at Thaba Bosiu in Lesotho.
