Santa María Polo Foundation Open games will be back tomorrow at Santa María Polo Club fields, a Medium Goal competition with the support of Audi Center Campo de Gibraltar.
Six teams of 10 to 12 goals do take part in this tournament, held on Puente de Hierro and Los Pinos Fields, headquarters of Santa María Polo Club.
The fourth phase of the competition will take place on Puente de Hierro Fields, with two games for the ranking.
Dr. A will face K2 at 16:30h on Puente de Hierro, while Equus and La Isla will play at 18:00h. The Open will continue on Friday, facing Woodchester-Los Conejos vs Bayswater-Sapphire at 18:00h on Puente de Hierro fields.
The Santa María Polo Foundation Open takes place during three weekends in June: 14, 21 and 28. It will join several important Medium Goal teams with a charity aim, for the benefit of the Santa María Hippotherapy Center. The total amount of donations received by the partner companies, as well as the audience’s consumptions will go to support the valuable social work of the foundation in the Guadiaro area.
Hippotherapy is the usage of several programs related to horses, in order to stimulate the mental, physical, sensory, emotional and occupational development of people with physical or mental disabilities or special needs. Exercises and activities can help to alleviate the effects of different disabilities.
