In the midst of the Argentine high-goal we receive news from next year’s European season. As usual, glamour and good polo will meet in Paris as of May, where numerous teams will battle it out to become Paris Open champions in Bagatelle.
The 2017 Parisian season will also include a new 10-12 goal tournament set to shake things up. The competition, held from July 1 to 9, will ensure that teams travelling to St Tropez arrive fit and fighting. The tournament will see polo return to the Dourdan-Les Yvelines area, a sporting hub in the 1960s, ’70s and ’80s.
Matches will be held on three first-rate fields, all thirty minutes from the center of Paris: Sainte Mesme, Kazak and La Monerie, and other stick and ball grounds will also be available.
Those taking part can also enjoy:
-Asados
-Penalty tournaments during the week
-Post match catering service
-Polo clinic overseen by Professor Eduardo Amaya
-Facilities for visiting teams
-Concierge service for players and patrons
-Hotels and tourism opportunities
-Horse racing
-Shopping
-Prizes for all the teams
