Arena Gold Cup Finalists

GoldCupTwelve Chops to Face Four Quarters Orange in Final
Following the Semi Finals at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club on Thursday 25 February the teams have been placed for the Gold and Silver Cups set to be played on Saturday 27 February.

Charlie Wooldridge’s team Twelve Chops narrowly won against Gaucho with a score of 21-19 to take the first slot in the Final. They have roasted their opposition throughout the tournament, winning by fairly comfortable leads. Their opposition, Four Quarters Orange, were the first team they defeated on Friday 19 February. However, Four Quarters Orange have had a team line-up change since the HPA New Year Nationals, replacing Nico San Roman with Jack Richardson, so they may have settled into a more coherent team after the initial rounds of the tournament. Simon Arber’s orange shirted team defeated Hilali Noordeen’s Sifani team, despite having the highest UK arena handicapped player Chris ‘the prof’ Hyde at their disposal. Sifani will now play Gaucho on Saturday for the Silver Cup before Twelve Chops and Four Quarters Orange battle it out for the Gold Cup.
