The Malaysian fursome displayed a great performance and beat the Korean lineup 13-5 after four chukkers.
The next game played on the main VR field, was the most awaited – local and favourite, Thailand, played against a tough Mongolia foursome. Seemed that the Mongolians would be a fierce contender, and that was until the Srivaddhanaprabha brothers and Co. came up with their best polo, and finally won by an impressive 10-3.
The level of polo in this first day of competition was really high, but one of the attractions was the fact that the two matches were almost played by night, with lights on, something that’s not much seen in a polo event.
The competition will resume on Wednesday 6 as follows:
4:30 PM: Malaysian Tigers vs Mongolia
5:30 PM: Thailand vs South Korea
