There’s always something special about a charity polo event. Santa Maria de Lobos will host a charity polo day in aid of “Salita de Primeros Auxilios de Cuartel 8” on on October 28. Some of the best players in the world have joined this cause. The event will be hosted by Ivan de Pineda.
Hyunday Polo Team and ICBC Polo Team will battle it out on the field. Among the players in participation will be Adolfo Cambiaso, Sapo Caset, Pelon Stirling, Tincho Merlos, Lucas Monteverde and Guillermo Terrera. The event will be a unique opportunity to watch six great players in action, all of whom are that are currently competing in the Triple Crown.
Before the match guests can enjoy an exclusive lunch, presented by chef Agustin Mallamann, and the high end wines of Rutini Vineyards.
This will be the first edition of the “Polo Solidario” Cup, and it will not be the last: “The idea is to repeat this event every year and keep working to strengthen the bonds between polo and charity,” said the organisers.
The ticket can be purchased directly at the entrance of Santa Maria de Lobos Polo Club. The contribution will be of ARS 200 per car (less than USD 20). All the funds raised will be given to the “Salita de Primeros Auxilios de Cuartel 8,” Paraje La Porteña.
