DOUBLE CELEBRATION FOR GARANGULA AT ELLERSTON

THE YOUNG TEAM CLAIMED THE ELLERSTON SPRING TROPHY & THE ARCHIBALD-CUDMORE

Ellerston Polo Club in Australia held the 16-goal Ellerston Spring Trophy and the 8-goal Archibald-Cudmore Trophy. Both ran from October 1-9. Seventeen teams were split into two groups: seven for the higher category and ten for the 8-goal trophy.

ELLERSTON SPRING TROPHY (16 Goals):

Ellerston White and Wright Pastoral battled it out for the Subsidiary Cup; the local team won the game 7-6.

Up next Garangula and Troika, the two best teams of qualification, played for the main trophy. It was a good, fast match in which Garangula claimed a 9-8 victory.

ARCHIBALD-CUDMORE TROPHY (8 Goals):

Ellerston Black and Pinnacle made it to the final stage of the Husky Pub Subsidiary Cup after beating Warrah Creek and RM Williams Polo, respectively, in semifinals. The locals won the game 8.5-6 and claimed the title.

In the final of the Archibald-Cudmore Trophy Garangula YHB beat Tamarang by a overwhelming 14 goals to 2.
