Eduardo Moore Semi Finals

EduardoMooreVictor Ludorum Tournaments Advance

The Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club’s two Victor Ludorum tournaments, The Eduardo Moore 15 goal and The Julian and Howard Hipwood Trophy are in full swing. The first Final will be played for the Ilias Lalaounis Trophy this Saturday for the Eduardo Moore Tournament, with the Semi Final places decided following a series of league games between eight teams. On Thursday 7 July, Emlor S will play Gales, Snakebite will play the second Emlor C team, whilst Black Bears face Bardon and Delaney are against Kildare Jaipur in the Semi Finals. Delaney and Black Bears have shown fine form in the opening rounds winning both their games, as have Kildare Jaipur so the Semi Final games should be pretty exciting, with top names such as Pite Merlos, Manolo Fernandez Llorente, Alejandro Novillo Astrada, Nacho Gonzalez, Guillermo Terrera and George Meyrick all playing. Running alongside the 15 goal Victor Ludorum is the 8 goal Julian and Howard Hipwood tournament. The Finals are scheduled for the 16 July, however the initial rounds have begun with Chester Stobart, a regular on the 8 goal Victor Ludorum circuit, winning their first game 5-4 against Asian Aart, who were also defeated by Cuatro Colas. Kirtlington based team Prestige Sport, with father and son combo Mark and Johnny Brown, also had a win against Windmill Farm. For a full schedule and team listing click here.
