The semifinals of the Gold Cup for the British Open have been set, following a very busy weekend of quarterfinals. The four teams who will play for a place in the final are Zacara, Valiente, La Indiana and King Power Foxes.
Action started on Saturday July 9, where Zacara beat HB 12-9 in the first match. Next, a fantastic performance by Valiente led them to an impressive 14-7 win over Clarke & Green.
La Indiana has risen to stardom during English season, and on Sunday they continued to dominated, beating Talandracas. By half time, La Indiana were 6-1 up; they managed to win the match 9-6.
Up next, title holders King Power Foxes had to fight hard to beat Britannia El Remanso. The Foxes had to battle back from 0-4 to reach a 10-all in the fifth, and finally decide the match in the last seven minutes of play.
The semifinals of the Gold Cup are due on Wednesday July 13 (grounds TBA)

Valiente vs Clarke & Green
