Yesterday the final of the successful 1st POLO+10 Patrons’ Cup India was held at the Jodhpur Polo & Equestrian Institute. 16 players from all over the world have come to the „Sun City“ Jodhpur in the northwest of India and competed in a three day tournament for victory. The 1st POLO+10 Patrons’ Cup India featured competitive games, actions for every single ball and an allover great atmosphere. In the end, it was the team Jodhpur Polo Club, who stepped on the podium as winners. Katriona Shrives (-2, UK), Bhanwar Janmejai Singh (0), Bhanwar Hemendra Singh (0) and Kr. Dhananjay Singh (1) were more than delighted about their victory.
The second place was captured by Vera Kubick (-2, GER), Stuart Allan (-1, UAE), H.H. Maharaja Padmanabh Singh Jaipur (+1) and Mr. Deepak Udar (+2) of team Jaipur. H.H. Nipendra Shah (-2), Mario Sander (0, PHI), Kr. Vikramaditya Singh (0) and Capt. Rohit Baswain (0) of team Polo Factory made it to the third place, followed by Nicole E.A. DeBerg (-1, USA), Lamar Rutherford (-2, USA), Brenda Phillips (-1, USA) and Mr. Jai Shergill (2) of team POLO+10.
The POLO+10 Patrons’ Cup India was part of the POLO+10 World Tour, which takes the participating polo players to the most amazing polo destinations in the world. A great atmosphere, outstanding locations, perfect hosts, new and old polo friends as well as the visit of the Maharadja of Jodhpur – the 1st POLO+10 Patrons’ Cup India was a complete success. We are already looking forward to it’s prosecution!
Next date of the POLO+10 World Tour is the Argentina Polo Academy from December 5th to 9th Dezember near Buenos Aires (Argentina).
