Further delays for play dates
The progress in the games for The Hurlingham Open is painfully slow as the Spring Argentine weather claims more non-play days. The postponement has resulted in the AAP releasing only two dates for confirmed games with the Final now listed as a date to be confirmed. The Argentine Open at Palermo is due to start on 11 November so there aren’t many days left to fit in the Final before the next wave of games are due to begin in The Triple Crown. The most important games that will determine the finalists for the second tournament in the Argentine high goal have been scheduled ahead of the remaining games. El Paraíso, who have had a strong campaign so far, will this weekend face their toughest opponents yet, Triple Crown and Hurlingham Open current title holders La Dolfina whilst Hurlingham 1875 Brand Ambassador Fred Mannix’s team Alegría will take on favourites for the Final, Ellerstina the following day on Sunday 6 November.
