The Gold Cup Series (Dubai Open), the highest rated polo event of the Middle East, will kick off on January 22, and will feature the two competitions – the McLaren Silver Cup (January 22-February 6), and Julius Baer Gold Cup (February 19- March 11).
The two 18-goal tournaments will take place at Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club, and will have some of world’s top polo players, such as 10-goaler Pablo MacDonough, recent winner of the Triple Crown in Argentina, who will be back with Zedan.
The Gold Cup Series awards points for the World Polo Tour as follows: McLaren Silver Cup (WPT Challenge Cup), and Both the McLaren Silver Cup and the Julius Baer Gold Cup award points for the World Polo Tour, in the categories WPT Challenge Cup and WPT Cup, respectively.

Will include the draw of the tournament

Press Conference February 8 at 10am (St. Regis, Dubai)
Media, partners, sponsors, patrons and players will be welcomed, and an introduction to the tournament and the rules will be made as well.
