Audi defeated Melody Capital by a narrow 11-10 score and captured the Polo Gear Challenge Cup, that took place last weekend at Grand Champions Polo Club.
Audi, who received three goals on handicap, dominated much of the scoreboard early in the game, until Dutta made an impressive comeback in the third chukker and cut the margin to just one goal (9-8 in favour of Audi).
Following two thrilling last chukkers, Kris Kampsen scored to tie at 10-all, to send the match into OT. It was when Timmy Dutta run to the goalposts in the first 22 seconds in overtime to seal the 11-10 win.
Jason Crowder was named MVP, and Belgrano, owned by Halo polo and ridden by Marc Ganzi earned BPP honors.
In other finals, Sonny Hill beat Dutta Corp 10-8, and Flex Jet took a 9-8 win over Casablanca.
