THE QUEEN MOTHER'S CENTENARY CUP TWO GAMES ON MONDAY

twogamesonmonday-79-2016-5-31GThe following two games were played on Monday at Guards Polo Club for the Queen Mother’s Centenary Cup:

Emlor C vs Emlor S

Emlor C claimed victory over Emlor S after a goal by Matt Perry in the last seconds of the game, which avoid the match going into extra chukker. Final score was 6-5. Guillermo Terrera is replacing Diego Cavanagh at Emlor S. Diego Cavanagh was injured during the Palm Beach season at one of his vertebrae. He is not the only injured player in his team. James McCarthy broke his wrist on Sunday during a practice and Lucas Zindel is replacing him.

Four Quarters Orange vs Black Bears

The second match was decided in extra chukker and was finally won by Four Quarters 6-5. As soon as the OT started, the rain became the main character. It was a double celebration day for Tom Morley, since it was also his birthday.

The Queen Mother’s Centenary Cup will resume its activity on Wednesday but there will be some activity in England tomorrow. The draws for the Archie David Cup, Royal Windsor Cup and Queen’s Cup will be taking place on Tuesday.
