The final of the first leg of the Argentine Triple Crown, the Tortugas Open, is due this weekend. Meanwhile, the World Polo Tour has presented September’s MVP.
The professional MVP award went to Lia Salvo, the woman who made history after her success at the Jockey Club Open with La Dolfina El Paso Polo Ranch alongside Pablo Mac Donough, Juan Martin Nero and Adolfo Cambiaso, who is still at the top of the international polo ranking of polo. Lia is currently placed at 151.
MVP Amateur of the month goes to Marc Ganzi, runner up of the East Coast Open, with his team Audi. Marc is ranked fifth place among the amateurs, and is at 31 in the general ranking.
Pick of the month went to the young and talented Santino Magrini. Santino scored a fantastic goal in the last minutes of the final to secure the East Coast Open for White Birch. Santino is ranked at 150.
