Better than ever!

The Wilder Kaiser mountains at their very best – buzzing with international players, thrilling team dynamics and, most importantly, fast-paced polo. The 16th Bendura Bank Snow Polo World Cup Kitzbühel will take place between Thursday 11 – Sunday 14 January 2018.

We may be in the run up to the busy festive season, but in snow polo terms, this only means one thing – preparations for the 16th Bendura Bank Snow Polo World Cup Kitzbühel 2018 are well underway. The snow is rapidly falling, the glasses are being polished and the horses have begun their altitude training.
We are delighted to confirm that the Snow Polo World Cup Kitzbühel 2018 will be welcoming Bendura Bank as this year’s title sponsor. Event organiser Tito Gaudenzi said, “We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with lead sponsor Bendura Bank AG without whom, the continuation of this unique and unforgettable tournament would not be possible. With the support of sponsors both new and old, we will revel in the time-honoured sport of polo and continue to showcase the beautiful Tyrolean Alps.”
“We are proud to have been involved from the very beginning”, said Dr Andreas Insam, CEO of Bendura Bank AG. “Bendura Bank AG and our customers are looking forward to fruitful conversations and relaxing days in Kitzbühel once again.”
The event will get underway on Thursday 11 January in the heart of Kitzbühel, as the six teams are officially introduced to the world’s press. Following a welcome party, in true Austrian style, the Snow Polo World Cup Kitzbühel 2018 will get underway with vigour. Action-packed matches will be top of the agenda from Friday 12 – Sunday 14 January, with each of the teams battling for the coveted Snow Polo World Cup title, on the Münichauer Wiese in Reith, near Kitzbühel. Match entry is free, making it the perfect event for polo fans both new and age-old.
After a day’s play, what is polo without a good party? The legendary invitation only VIP ‘Polo Players’ Night’ party will be taking place on Saturday 13 January with a plethora of VIPs, celebrities and players gracing the dance card. VIP tickets for the match days and the evening will be available at the event, or beforehand by contacting the events team (tickets@kitzbuehelpolo.com). Tickets are selling fast, so you better get there quick!
