Day 1:
With the largest field and richest prize purse in Grand Champions Polo Club history on the line, Valiente swept both first round games at Valiente Polo Farm in the 0-26 goal tournament.
In Tuesday’s opening game, Valiente I (Bob Jornayvaz, Bautista Panelo, Pablo Spinacci, Adolfo Cambiaso) defeated Audi (Marc Ganzi, Nic Roldan, Magoo Laprida, Alejandro Novillo Astrada) 16-13, to advance into the second round.
Scorers Valiente I: Spinacci (4), Panelo (1), Jornayvaz (1), Cambiaso (1).
Scorers AUDI: Roldan (6), Marc Ganzi (3), Magoo Laprida (2), Novillo Astrada (2).

In the second game, Valiente II (Rob Jornayvaz, Matías Torres Zavaleta, Diego Cavanagh, Tomás García del Río) beat Flexjet (Melissa Ganzi, Rodrigo Andrade, Gonzalito Pieres, Nico Pieres), 13-7.
If Valiente I and Valiente II make it all the way to the final, it would be the first time in five years the teams have played against each other.
Day 2:
Palm Beach Illustrated knocked off International Polo Club with a stunning 14-8 victory.
The talented foursome of Jared Zenni, Santi Torres, Agustin Obregon and Tommy Collingwood, playing together for the first time, moved into a serious contender’s role after frustrating the talented IPC team of Grant Ganzi, Jason Crowder, Jesse Bray and Juancito Bollini from start-to-finish.
La Dalila (15) (Pablo Dorignac, Jesús Ontiveros, Francisco Ayala, A. Nolinas) defeated 5-goal Equuleus (Martin Naloones, Hugo Taliaferro, Dale Walmer, Danny Tagliaferro), 14-13.
Dorignac scored a team-high seven goals including scoring what turned out to be the game-winner.
In a battle of 5-goal teams, Sebucan (Benji Daniels, Pablo Pulido, Justin Daniels, Juan Olivera) edged The Polo School (Rick Desich, Lolly Stanhope-White, Alex Webb, JJ Celis), 10-9. Benji Daniels scored what turned out to be the winning goal.

TOP PONY 12-GOAL:
High Ground/GSA pulled away in the second half to defeat previously unbeaten Patagones, 13-9, in the Top Pony 12-Goal Final on Sunday at Patagones.
After the first two tied chukkers (3-3 and 4-4), High Ground/GSA (Joe Meyer, Henry Porter, Torito Ruiz, Inaki Laprida) took a 7-5 halftime lead over Patagones (Joaquin Avendano, Santi Wulff, Tavi Usandizaga, Benjamin Avendano).
In the second half, High Ground/GSA had leads of 10-6 in the fourth chukker and 13-7 in the fifth chukker and went into cruise control in the final chukker.
MVP: Henry Porter.
BPP: Aceituna, owned by Matias Magrini and ridden by Henry Porter.

LIMITED EDITION 8-GOAL SERIES FINAL:
Valiente turned it on in the second half to defeat Hawk Hill, 14-7, to win the Limited Edition 8-Goal Series Final Saturday at Valiente.
Valiente (Poroto Cambiaso, Rob Jornayvaz, Salvador Lokei, Pablo Spinacci) and Hawk Hill (Narcos Sika, Bauti Crotto, Gringo Colombres, Scott Swerdlin) played a tight, penalty-marred first half.
MVP: Pablo Spinacci.
BPP: Reyna, owned by Cambiaso.
Scorers Valiente: Spinacci (10), Cambiaso (3), Lockei (1).
Scorers Hawk Hill: Colombres (4), Crotto (3).
