The Maserati Polo Tour got off to a thrilling start at the Snow Polo World Cup on the beautiful frozen lake in St. Moritz. The tournament ran from January 27 to 29; after three exciting days of play, Cartier claimed the victory.
Four teams played enetertaining and high class polo matches to delight the spectators. Among the VIP guests was polo player Malcolm Borowick, motor bike legend Giacomo Agostini, and slalom world champion Giorgio Rocca, all of who got to test dirve the new Maserati Levante SUV on snow.
Giulio Pastore, GM Maserati, and Enrico Roselli, CEO La Martina Europe, were both delighted to have kicked off the Maserati Polo Tour in such a unique enviroment, endorsing the brand’s passion for the sport.
Maserati Polo team included Malaysian family members James, Ms. Lovy, Joevy, Chevy and Gaervy Beh, who were making their debut in St. Moritz.
To compliment the horsepower on the lake of St. Moritz, Maserati had a fleet of vehicles with a different kind of horsepower on display in the polo village. Spectators could take a closer look at the new Levante, the brand’s first SUV, which was launched in Spring 2016. They could also discover the new Quattroporte MY17, an the Ghibli MY17, with their new equipment packages and advanced driving assistance systems.
The Snow Polo St. Moritz marked the exciting kick off of the Maserati Polo Tour 2017, in partnership with La Martina, and emphazised Maserati’s long-lasting commitment to polo.
