Yesterday a very successful first promo event for Polo Rovinj was held in Zagreb, attended by a large number of croatias society, business partners, diplomats, sponsors and officials. The amazing historic Hotel Esplanade provided the right frame for the high class event.
Adris/Maistra, Bentley Vienna and Dupont were serving an exquisite catering and entertaining the guest with their latest luxury car modell and products. La Martina, the official supplier of Polo Rovinj presented their new fashion line, beautifully iluminated by Vedras company.
Among the guests, some famous locals like Miss Slovenia, Goran Fabris (Director Operations Maistra), David Flam (Director Marketing Maistra), Leo Ivanjko (Member of the Board of Polo Rovinj), Hugo Baus (Co-owner cmt) and many others enjoyed the speach of well-known Croatian sport moderator Ivan Blazicko and Uwe Zimmermann (President of the Board of Polo Rovinj and polo player).
6 international teams with players from the UK, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Italy, Switzerland, France, Brazil and Argentina, will participate from 18-21 May 2017 in the 2nd edition of the Beach Polo Rovinj Tournament, 60 horses will be transported to perform with their riders in one of the – not only by technical standards – best arenas in the world of polo.
The aim of perfection is the common goal of the organizers and a huge number of national and international guests will travel to the coast of Istria/Croatia to enjoy the amazing event. In addition to exciting games a fun filled entertainment is prepared, featuring Spanday Ballet as the main show act at the players party on 20th May.
The gastronomic highlight will be the black tie gala dinner on Friday night, prepared by top chef Andrew Gaskin. Local citizens and tourists look forward to welcome all polo players and their polo ponies on Saturday morning at the parade through the historic center of Rovinj.
The next promo will be held on 16th March 2017 at the Trussardi Cafe in Milan.
