SUCCESSFUL ELLERSTINA DEBUT; ALEGRÍA & CRÍA YATAY PUT ON GREAT SHOW

The fourth day of the Argentine Open Championship saw two matches held at Palermo. Ellerstina made their debut, with Facundo Pieres on good form after his fall in the final of Hurlingham. Polito Pieres gave a great performance and was the top scorer of the game. The Pieres know they are in a difficult zone and their way to the final will not be easy, but they had an excellent start to the tournament, beating Chapaleufu 21-7.

Next up on ground one, Alegria and Cria Yatay put on a great display of polo. Alegria got an early lead but Yatay remained hot on their heels. Despite the pink team maintaining lead the entire game, Cria Yatay proved they are a solid team. Lerin Zubiaurre made his debut on ground one after the injury that left him out of the last two seasons. Alegria claimed the win and secured their position in Zone B.
