For the eighth year in a row, Veuve Clicquot, alongside world-renowned polo player Nacho Figueras, welcomed more than 6,000 Angelenos, celebrities and polo enthusiasts to the beautiful Will Rogers State Historic Park to celebrate with champagne and enjoy the highly-anticipated Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic Los Angeles. The glamorous crowd enjoyed a day of polo-watching, picnicking and champagne-sipping in support of the event’s longstanding beneficiary, the Will Rogers State Historic Park.
The park, set in the hills of the Pacific Palisades, once served as home to polo matches amongst the stars, including Will Rogers himself and Walt Disney, Spencer Tracy, Clark Gable and Douglas Fairbanks. This event gave the crowd a unique and exciting experience that embodied the glorious days of style and polo that thrived in the city of Angels in the 1920s and 1930s.
Always a star-studded event, the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic Los Angeles was attended by celebrities including Kate Hudson, Dev Patel, Tracee Ellis Ross, Jamie Foxx, Chris Martin, Laura Dern, James Marsden, Rosario Dawson, Bella Heathcote, Eiza Gonzalez, Sophia Bush, Ali Larter, Camilla Belle, Justin Hartley, Regina King, Sarah Wright Olsen, Abigail Spencer, Aja Naomi King, Victoria Justice, Ashley Madekwe, Lauren Conrad and William Tell, Lindsay Vonn, Wilmer Valderrama, and many more.
Spectators enjoyed a fast-paced match watching Team Veuve Clicquot, captained by Nacho Figueras, take on Team Will Rogers, captained by Sterling Giannico. Nacho played alongside his wife, Delfina Blaquier, in the match, and was deemed Most Valuable Player, scoring a total of 6 goals and bringing Team Veuve Clicquot a victorious 11 to 8 win. Other highlights from the day included Lauren Duski’s performance of the National Anthem and the ceremonial ball toss thrown in by Bella Heathcote.
Located on the sprawling grassy north side of the field, General Access ticket holders picnicked on the legendary polo grounds, sipped champagne from the Veuve Clicquot champagne bar and indulged in fare from a wide array of some of the best food trucks in Los Angeles, including Baby’s Badass Burgers, Belly Bombz, Coolhaus, Cousin’s Maine Lobster, India Jones Chow Truck, Jogasaki Sushi Burrito, Mandoline Grill, Meat the Greek, and more. Always attracting a fashionable and stylish crowd, guests donned classic polo style, further bolstering the event’s reputation for creating unforgettable fashion-forward moments.

Drawing inspiration from polo’s global presence with its rich culture and heritage, Veuve Clicquot continues to support the sport in the U.S. Around the world, spectators gather at polo matches and take part in elaborate and glamorous afternoons celebrating the game.
