PENALTY SHOOTOUT TO DECIDE FINALISTS ON THURSDAY

Bin Drai and Wolves both claimed victories in the last qualification round of the Dubai Challenge Cup, the last high goal tournament of the Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series. Bin Drai defeated Zedan by 11 goals to 8, while Wolves beat Habtoor by 6 goals to 5.

Bin Drai, Zedan and Wolves are now equal in points, with two victories a piece. These three teams will battle it out in the penalty shootout on Thursday, 10.30am, at Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club). The two top will advance to Friday’s Dubai Challenge Cup, scheduled for 4.30pm, field 1, Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club.

Wolves: Habtoor Al Habtoor 1 (3 goals), Matías González 2 (1), Ezequiel Martínez Ferrario 8, Manuel Crespo 7 (2). Total: 18.

Zedan: Khalaf Al Habtoor 0, Tomás Panelo 3 (2 goals), Martín Gándara 5 (3), Pablo Mac Donough 10 (3). Total: 18.
