Marquard Media advance to 15-goal final; Evviva Saint Moritz claim win to keep hopes alive

The International Polo Cup, one of the most important polo tournaments of the season at Saint Tropez Polo Club, continued on Thursday. Ten teams, divided into two categories (10- and 15-goal), are competing. The final is due on Sunday, July 15.

 

Action started with the 15-goal, where Marquard Media worked hard to beat a tough Antelope team and secure their spot in Sunday’s final. In the 10-goal, Evviva Saint Moritz beat La Calera. The win means they are still in the tournament; they face Antelope on Saturday for a place in the final.

La Calera: Jaime Espinoza 1 (3 goals), Carlos Piñal 1, Federico Uribe 5 (4), Iago Masías 3 (1). Total: 10.

Score Battistoni: 4-1, 7-2, 7-5, 9-8.
