Barry’s and Master Paints recorded victories in the annual Cancer Care Hospital Polo Charity Cup 2019 matches played here at the Lahore Polo & Country Club (LP&CC).
In the first match, Barry’s outpaced Artema Medical/Black Horse Paints by 7-41/2. From the winning side, Ahmed Zubair hammered a hat-trick while Agha Musa banged in a brace and Jameel Barry and Ernesto Eortz converted one goal each.
Barry’s dominated the match right from the word go as slammed in two goals each in the first and second chukkers to take a healthy 4-0 lead. Artema Medical/Black Horse Paints bounced back in style as they hit a hat-trick through Hamza Mawaz to reduce the deficit to 4-3. In the dying moments of the third chukker, Barry’s converted another one to stretch their lead to 5-3. In the fourth and last chukker, Artema Medical could add one more in their tally to further reduce the margin to 5-4, but it was all that they could get from the match, as Barry’s thrashed two more goals to win the match by 7-41/2.
In the second eight-chukker match of the day, Master Paints outperformed Diamond Paints by 18-121/2.
