US Open Polo Championship: opening win for Coca-Cola

The US Open Polo Championship, ultimate moment of the American Polo Season, kicked off on Wednesday at International Polo Club Palm Beach, in Wellington, United States. In this season in particular many people consider this tournament as the most competitive of the year since a total of 16 teams up to 22 goals are in competition. Among the teams are defending champions Daily Racing Form and Pilot, winner of the CV Whitney Cup and the USPA Gold Cup, opening competitions of the brand new Gauntlet of Polo.

 

In the opening matchday Coca-Cola beat La Indiana by 12 goals to 10. The final is scheduled for Sunday, April 21st.
