Heavy rains interrupt Palermo much awaited start

Heavy rains obliged to postpone the first matchday of the 127 Argentine Open, at Palermo, on Saturday. The decision was taken halfway through the third chukker of the opening game between RS Murus Sanctus and La Irenita II. At the moment of the delay, RS Murus Sanctus was leading 6-0 over La Irenita 2, with Sapo Caset scoring all six goals for his team.

The first delay came halfway the second chukka; it resumed still under the rain, but as bad weather continued, it was decided to postpone the game, as well as following clash between La Natividad Las Monjitas and La Irenita, due on ground 1, at 4pm.

On the other hand, the scheduled matches for Sunday were rescheduled for Tuesday. To watch the debuts by La Dolfina and Ellerstina people will have to wait until Thursday and Friday, respectively.

For fourth consecutive year, 10 teams are taking part of the Argentine Open.

La Irenita II: Santiago Loza 7, Tomás Fernández Llorente Jr. 7, Juan Ruiz Guiñazu 8, Pedro Falabella 8. Total: 29.

Score RS Murus Sanctus: 2-0, 4-0, 6-0.

4pm: La Ensenada La Aguada vs. Los Machitos
