There’s a new and exotic destination for polo and it is no less than Egypt, one of the most legendaries places in the world that has a rich history of more than 5,000 years.
The Kings Polo Academy, the first equestrian complex set in El Cairo is currently hosting the Kings Polo Gold Cup, that features four teams up to 9 goals, and has the exclusive coverage from PoloLine. The event will run through October 8-10 and will feature a juniors competition as well.
These have been the results of the opening day:
Piramide 4 vs. OS Polo 3
Kabnoury Ventures 8,5 vs. Kings Polo 7
The Kings Polo Gold Cup will resume on Friday October 9, with the following order of play:
3pm: OS Polo vs. Kabnoury Ventures
4pm: Kings Polo vs. Piramide
Meanwhile, the juniors matches will commence on Friday with the semifinals:
