Queen’s Cup Pink Polo glory for La Familia

A new edition of the Queen’s Cup Pink Polo, one of the most prestigious ladies polo tournaments around the world, which started twelve years ago, came to an end on Saturday at Thai Polo & Equestrian Club, in Pattaya, Thailand. A total of 4 teams up to 14 goals (ladies Handicap) were in competition.

Pink Polo seeks to be an option for those women who seek a high sport and competitive level, and also enjoy a unique social environment and contribute to a cause linked to raise awareness about breast cancer through the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer Foundation.

A lot of people gathered around the field to enjoy an amazing event with a great lunch, parades, an afternoon tea and, of course, the best polo. La Familia and Marengo fought off to win the championship. And after a great teamwork, a good efficiency on goal opportunities and very good performances from both Lia Salvo and maybe one of the best young and upcoming players of the circuit, Beanie Bradley, La Familia ended up defeating Marengo by 7 goals to 5. Besides, Nurul Noor Ajala and Olivia Jauretche made some very good efforts.
