Local foursome, Ghantoot, took a heavy 10-4.5 win over Abu Dhabi (who received 0.5 goal on handicap), and claimed the Emirates Polo Championship International, the tournament that saw three teams, between 10 and 12 goals, play four chukka matches.
The final took place on Tuesday December 15 on the Sheikh Zayed Field, at Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club, in Abu Dhabi. As happened in the previous match, during the league stage, on December 10, Ghantoot managed to dominate the match and the scoreboard, by displaying a thrilling team play and widening the gap chukka after chukka.
In the awards presentation, Manuel Toccalino was named Best Professional Player, while the Best Local Player went to Nasser Al Shamsi. Centaura earned a BPP honors. In addition, both teams received money prizes.
