On Friday October 15, and prior to the big final of the Tortugas Open, La Natividad defeated La Dolfina Brava (who received 3.5 goals on handicap) by a 14-10.5 score and won the Subsidiary Domingo Faustino Sarmiento Cup, following the match that was played at Tortugas Country Club.
The match was fast paced, very well played, quick and with many field goals; La Natividad managed to outscore La Dolfina Brava’s advantage they received on handicap by the end of the second chukka, and from then onwards, they seized the reins to dominate the scoreboard. Both teams played a great contest, displaying their amazing skills in order get into the Hurlingham Open in the best form possible, due to start next week.
Sol de Agosto Caramelo, ridden by Poroto Cambiaso, earned the blanket to the Best Polo Argentino Bred, presented by the Argentine Polo Pony Breeders Association.
