But Zidane is famous in sports circles as a thoroughbred horse breeder and a fan of polo.

He has his own stable in America, Zidane Racing Stables, which was founded in 2016.

Zidane also owned the infamous horse Medina Spirit, who won the 2021 Kentucky Derby.

However, the colt was stripped of its victory after testing positive for a banned substance.

The tragic horse died of a heart attack in December at the age of three.

Zidane has not been linked to the doping scandal.

But Derby coach Bob Baffert received a two-year ban from entering the races.

As for polo, Zidane is the president of the polo association in Saudi Arabia, while he was also the sponsor of the Zidane Polo team.

And should things go according to Zidane’s plan, he will soon become the man to replace Abramovich as the new owner of Chelsea.
