Argentina and United States will play the championship match of the I Ladies World Cup, following their wins against Italy and England, respectively, in the semifinals that were played on Thursday April 14, at Palermo.
The tournament, which marks a milestone in the history of the sport, sees six national teams compete for the title: Argentina, Brazil, United States, England, Ireland, and Italy.
Teams are split into two groups, with each group playing a round robin format, where the top team of each group will face off. The final is scheduled for Saturday, April 16.
In a very narrow and hard fought game, United States earned the first spot in semifinals after beating England by a narrow 4-3. Up-next, Argentina overwhelmed Italy to claim a massive 7-0.5 win over Italy, that led the local girls to the final against the Americans.

The finals of the I Ladies World Cup are due on Saturday April 16. England and Italy will clash for the Silver Cup at 2,30pm while Argentina and United States will compete for the main title, at 4pm.
