Following the extremely success of the IX Edition of the Lawyers Polo Cup, that run through March 14-11 in the splendid Plettenberg Bay, in South Africa, the tournament will be back in Argentina. The competition is set to be played between December 5-10 at Alegria Polo Club, in General Rodriguez, Pilar.
The comeback of the tournament to Argentina, a one-of-a-kind event, will see ten teams, composed of 40 of the most prestigious international lawyers, who share their passion for polo, compete, with players coming from “Argentina, Perú, Chile, Colombia, France, Mexico, Venezuela, United States, England, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, South Afrida, India, Singapore and Pakistan. It is a huge pleasure to be back to Argentina with Lawyers Polo, the place where everything kicked off 14 years ago!”, told Eduardo Bereterbide to PoloLine. An international arbitrtion player who lives in Paris, Bereterbide grew up in Argentina, where he developed a great passion on the sport; in 2008 he established Lawyers Polo.
He adds: “There will be a great opening party in an iconic place in Buenos Aires, which is still a surprise!”
Meanwhile, Alegria’s Fred Mannix, is happy to host such a prestigious event: “Welcome Lawyers Polo to Alegria! We are looking forward to see you in December and we are very happy to greet you in our club!”, said the Canadian-born player.
