On Saturday July 16 the finals of two significant ladies tournaments were played at Cowdray Park Polo Club, set in Midhurst West Sussex: the British Ladies Open Championship, one of the most remarkable ladies competitions of the British season, that saw six teams up to 16 goals, compete, split in two leagues; and the British Ladies High Goal Championship for the Cowdray Rosebowl, that saw five teams up to 22 goals, in participation.
Sealing an extraordinary 2022 British season, Semper Anticus claimed the British Open Ladies Championship, after a close 3-2 win over Coomble Place. They were due to play the championship match of the British Ladies High Goal Championship for the Cowdray Rosebowl, as well, but they lost to AM Polo CT by a tight 8-7. With regards to the Subsidiary finals, Team Tonic beat Maíz Dulce by an impressive 8-2 (British Open Ladies Championship), while UAE took a 8-6 win over King Power por 8 a 6 (British Ladies High Goal Championship for the Cowdray Rosebowl).
