The ninth edition of the Thai Polo Cup Argentina came to an end on Saturday November 26, in a day that saw not only the main final but also many Subsidiary Cups. As in 2021, the tournament saw sixteen teams up to 14 goals, compete. Following the awards presentation, a fantastic closing party was hosted for the attendance, with a band, Sin Ensayo, playing.
Both undefeated, after winning their three league games, as well as their semifinal matches, Lavinia and Altamira met up in the championship match of the Thai Polo Cup Argentina.
After an impressive start, Altamira, who had Gonzalo Ferrari as their flagship man, dominated the game, widening the gap from the first chukka onwards and holding Lavinia back thoroghout the match as well as in the result. The winning team was led by the seasoned Gastón Laulé from the back, and his son, Beltrán, delivered a great performance.
At the end of the day, Altamira were victorious, and claimed the title for the first time ever, after many years playing in several editions.
