Double win for Scone
On Friday 15 September, the third day of the 58th edition of the Jockey Club Open took place, for The Thai Polo Cup. Action was split between La Dolfina Polo Club and the Argentine Association of Polo Headquarters, in Pilar. In the morning La Dolfina secured their second win of the tournament, this time against Betania Arg Polo Gin; the second match of the day saw Monterosso defeat La Hache PT, 15-11 and defending champions Scone successfully start the tournament with a 16-9 win against Cañuelas Polo Team. The single match due on Sunday 17 September between Scone and La Ensenada was postponed due to rain, but on Monday 18 September, at the Jockey Club, in San Isidro, Scone’s winning streak continued with a 15-11 win against La Ensenada. These results mean that the Semi Finals on Wednesday 20 September have been set as:Scone vs Monterosso and La Dolfina vs La Ensenada
