Argentina vs England on Saturday 27 July at Guards Polo Club
The four English players who will take on Argentina for The Coronation Cup have been announced as Matt Perry (6), Ollie Cudmore (6), James Harper (7) and Tommy Beresford (8) as Captain with Max Charlton and Jack Richardson as reserves. They will face an Argentine team of Rufino Laulhé (4), Beltrán Lauhlé (5), Carlos M. Ulloa (8) and Hilario Ulloa (10). Team England will be looking to secure their first victory against Argentina who have won the title each of the five times the two sides have met in The Coronation Cup.
There is no lack of Coronation Cup experience in the England side, Ollie Cudmore made his debut in 2014 and has faced Argentine twice, this will be James Harper’s fourth Coronation Cup appearance and Captain Tommy Beresford will be looking to continue his unbeaten streak in The Coronation Cup having defeated The Commonwealth in 2023 and Uruguay in 2022.
