“Ghantoot” and “Moroccans of the World” in the “Polo Show”

The organizing committee for the exhibition match revealed the details, during a press conference at the club’s headquarters, in the presence of Saeed bin Houfan Al Mansouri, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ghantoot Horse Racing and Polo Club, and Nasser Al Shamsi, a member of the Club’s Board of Directors, while the Moroccan delegation included Mahdi Al Nusayri, head of the delegation, and Karim Al Zarif, representative. Saeed bin Houfan stressed that the match between the two teams comes as a continuation of the meetings between athletes in the two brotherly countries, which contributes to the boom in Arab, Asian and African polo, and benefits from the multiplicity of schools of the game that will reflect on future generations.

Nasser Al Shamsi, a member of the club’s board of directors, said: The friendly match represents the continuation of relations and the exchange of visits, especially since “Ghantoot” previously participated in the Mohammed VI International Championship last year, and included 8 Arab and foreign teams.

He added: The club was keen to develop a full program, welcoming the siblings, which begins by opening the club’s doors for free, starting at one o’clock this afternoon, where an area has been allocated for families and various children’s games, accompanied by some entertainment shows and programs, the Abu Dhabi Police police dog section, and an exhibition match. For the talents of Yassel Academy and the Future Champions Football Academy, followed by a polo match for the Dubai Polo Club juniors. The match is followed by honoring the participants in the two teams, and a drawing for 100 valuable prizes allocated by the club for attendees.
