ITHACA, N.Y. — The Cornell men’s polo team will look to get back on track when it hosts Virginia Tech on Friday, March 15, at the Oxley Equestrian Center.
The Big Red had its four-game winning streak snapped last Friday with a 27-9 loss to the Toronto Polo Club. Benito Jaramillo Samper and Patricio Fraga-Errecart led Cornell in scoring.
During its winning streak to start the spring season, the Big Red outscored its opponents by 54 (90-36). It scored more than 20 points in each of those contests, amassing a season-best 28 against Yale on Jan. 26.
Cornell won the Northeast Regional tournament championship on March 3 with a 23-1 win over Yale. The Big Red will compete at nationals in April.
