Men’s Polo Loses Consolation Game

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA — Cornell men’s polo fell 18-9 to Southern Methodist University in the consolation game at the UVA Fall Polo Tournament.

In the loss, freshman Max Sponer led the Big Red’s scoring efforts with five goals and freshman Dylan Tung had the other three. 

Cornell has now moved to 1-2 on the season and will look to get back in the win column in its next full weekend of games. The Big Red will be back in action when it plays at home in the Oxley Equestrian Center on Friday, Nov. 1 against Work-To-Ride at 7 p.m.
