Men’s Polo Takes Down Virginia Tech

ITHACA, N.Y. — The Cornell men’s polo team  dominated Virginia Tech 32-3 Friday night at the Oxley Equestrian Center. 

Benito Jaramillo SamperEduardo Palacios and  Patricio Fraga-Errecart led Cornell in scoring.

“We’re excited to get the big win over Virginia Tech tonight, and now our attention turns to the USPA National Championships in Los Osos, CA from April 2 – 6,” Anthony Condo, The Peter B. Orthwein ’68 Head Coach of Polo, said. “Our teams are ready to go out West, compete hard, and represent the Big Red and make our fans and supporters proud.  We fully intend to bring home the hardware and hang two more National Championship banners in the rafters at the John T. Oxley Equestrian Center, adding the proud history that is Cornell Polo.  We have some teams coming to Oxley over the next two weekends that are really going to challenge us and help us get ready to play at the highest level.”

Cornell has won five of its six games this spring.
