Women’s Polo Set for DII Northeast Regionals

ITHACA, N.Y. — The Cornell women’s polo hosts the 2024 USPA Divison II Northeast Regional this weekend at the Oxley Equestrian Center. 

The Big Red will face the winner of Friday’s Skidmore and Yale matchup on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 2 p.m. Harvard will play the winner of UConn and UMass at 4 p.m. Saturday. 

The consolation and championship games will be played at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25. The Big Red has wins over three of the four teams in the Division II regional — Skidmore, Yale and UConn — already this season. 

Cornell enters the tournament with an 8-4 record, riding a season-best four-game win streak. The Big Red has outscored its opponents 88-11 since the season resumed in January, and it has scored more than 15 points in each contest. Cornell scored more than 20 points in its first two games this spring.
