Final of the La Martina British Ladies Open Championship at Cowdray Park 18th July 2015

Six teams entered the La Martina British Ladies Open Championship at Cowdray Park which was the first to be played in the UK under the new handicapping system for women’s polo.

On Tuesday (28th July) and Wednesday (29th July), there will be an opportunity for the spectators to plunge even further into the sport of polo. In addition to the matches there will be a polo rules lesson including a lottery at 2.00 p.m. (on both days admission only 10 EUR).

The Kings of Polo – Piaget brand ambassadors Facundo & Gonzalito Pieres win the Gold Cup at Cowdray

Congratulations are extended by all at Piaget to an ecstatic King Power Foxes team who are celebrating once again, after winning the 2015 Gold Cup (known as The British Open Polo Championships) at Cowdray Park Polo Club on Sunday 19th July 2015, having also won the Queen’s Cup at Guards Polo Club earlier in the English high goal polo season.

King Power Foxes reign champions

The Final of The Jaeger-LeCoultre Gold Cup at Cowdray Park Polo Club was a fight to the finish between UAE Polo and King Power Foxes with end to end galloping polo. UAE started well, winning a penalty in the first 30 seconds, which Macdonough converted with ease to open the scores.

EFG ARAVALI AT GUARDS

EFG Aravali took a narrow 5-4 win over Emlor to win the Indian Empire Shield at Guards Polo Club. The winners dominated the match and the scoreboard. Emlor made an impressive comeback in the last chukkas in an attempt to tie the game, but they were unable to defeat EFG in the end.

King Power Foxes and UAE Polo Team reach the Final of The Jaeger-LeCoultre Gold Cup Strongly fought matches yesterday, 15 July, decided the outcome of the Semi Finals of The Jaeger-LeCoultre Gold Cup. It is not surprising that the favourites, UAE and King Power Foxes, have made it to the Final, having dominated over their opposition throughout this tournament.

The 121° Paris Open has just come to a close. The tournament grows year on year thanks to the club in which it is held: Paris Polo Club. With a spectacular setting, enviable weather and great facilities, there are plenty of reasons to praise the club. Its central location in the Bois de Bolougne allows players to keep their horses in the club itself, avoiding long lorry journeys.

University of London Polo Club wins the International University Polo Challenge 2015

Six teams representing all five continents competing in Rome during last week-end in the 3rd International University Polo Challenge (IUPC). The tournament aiming to bring together the best university players in the world and, as in previous two years, has been hosted at the prestigious Acquedotto Romano Polo Club, just outside the ‘eternal city’.
