Newport & Palm Beach to Ignite 2nd Half of Polo Season

Newport will face off against Palm Beach on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 5p.m. in the Newport International Polo Series, presented by your Rhode Island BMW Centers. These City Series matches feature challengers from rival cities around the US playing in 6-chukker matches against the home team, Newport.

In an emotionally-charged tournament, Travieso won its Aspen Valley Polo Club debut. Travieso (Teo Calle, Marc Ganzi, Nic Roldan, Stewart Armstrong) came from behind to win the second annual Craig Sakin Memorial Cup Sunday in front of a good local crowd and worldwide ChukkerTV audience.

BUTLER HANDICAP AT GREENWICH

Airstream and K.I.G. played an intense match for the Butler Handicap that went into overtime and gave win to Airstream 8-7 after a penalti shot by Michel Dorignac. Greenwich Polo Club added this public match to the schedule and fans showed up to watch the action.
